Drumroll ("Drumroll", "we", "us", or "our") operates https://www.trydrumroll.com and our related applications and services (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you give us directly, including your name, email address, mobile phone number, business name or Google Business Profile, and any details you provide when you book a call, sign up, fill out a form, or contact us.
We also automatically collect technical and usage information when you visit the Service, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device information, pages viewed, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits ("Log Data"). We collect some of this through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, schedule and manage calls and appointments, send service-related and transactional messages, respond to your requests, send newsletters and marketing communications (where permitted), measure and analyze usage, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with our legal obligations.
3. SMS / Text Messaging Program (TCPA)
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in (for example, by checking the SMS consent box when you book a call), you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Drumroll, including appointment reminders, confirmations, scheduling updates, and account or service-related messages, at the number you provided. Consent is obtained through a clear opt-in and is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; reply HELP for help or contact us at the email below. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except with subcontractors or service providers (such as our messaging platform) strictly to help us operate the messaging program.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with: (a) service providers and subprocessors who perform services on our behalf (for example, scheduling, messaging, email, hosting, payment, and analytics providers) under contracts that limit their use of the information; (b) authorities or other parties where required by law or to protect our rights; and (c) a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Some of our analytics and advertising cookies may constitute "sharing" under California law (see Sections 5 and 6), which you can opt out of.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small data files stored on your device. We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) for essential site functionality, to remember preferences, to measure performance through analytics (for example, Google Analytics and PostHog), and, where applicable, to support advertising and conversion measurement.
You can control cookies through our cookie consent banner (where shown) and through your browser settings, which you can set to refuse some or all cookies or to alert you when a cookie is being sent. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Service may not function properly. Where required by law, we obtain consent before setting non-essential cookies and honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).
6. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the following rights regarding your personal information: the right to know and access the personal information we collect, use, and disclose; the right to delete your personal information; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising); the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16. To opt out of any sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, use our cookie consent controls, enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser, or contact us using the details below. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address in Section 11. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it.
8. Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Changes To This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice, such as by email or a prominent notice on the Service.
